As an artist he's good..Im not gonna say he doesnt have any talent at all..I heard i feel like dying, it was an ok song...the thing with lil wayne is, what is he doing that hasnt already been done? for him to be the best rapper alive, some magazines even quote him saying he's the best rapper to date, he needs to change the game, have a huge impact...he may be at the top of HIS game, but that doesnt put him at the top of the rap game.

Not the best in the game right now very good lyricist and i like his music...but i haven't heard the song you are referring too and I do feel he has matured as an artist

I must agree, his lyrics and style has stepped up in the last five years. I still don't think he's one of the greatest though. The south just has too much great rappers to put him to the top. Like Andre' 3000, T.I. , Ludacris. But not to take anything away from him, he has mastered his style. But I just think the best out there, are on whole different level that he won't ever be able to get too....

lil wayne has over the years become good at his craft. but is he talented???, no. he hasnt done anything different that made me think otherwise. i dont think he will ever become the best in rap, even though he is hot right now. but lil wayne i can say that he show ... as long as he been with baby and cash money, he has shown hes hungry. and that you cant take away from him.

i love lil wayne's music he has been rapping since forever when he was a hot boy and he still is but he has some of the best rap songs next to t.i.

He's the Best Rapper Alive. Look at his history and songs. He rapped at 17 with Hot Boys then broke up and did better by himself.He's always makin some1's song better when he's on it and he always got mixtapes showing off his skills.

wayne is an ok hook singer but what is funny is that he raps better when he is a featured artist than in his own cd's

Same here. He's changed from before, but for me... he's not really a GREAT artist, if yanno what i mean. But he's aight. Not the best in the game right now though.

Lyrically he has grown.. Weezy is fire.. Um i dont know bout him being the best in the game but he is one of the many talented rappers in the game. And yea he has matured, he dont seem immature anymore.

I think many people have him very overrated. I think he has talent, and no, he's not at the top of his game. He will never be an all time great (unlike some opinions), but can become a very good rapper.
