Without any specifics about your situation, this is what I have to offer....it may sound hippocritical coming from an Agnostic, but whenever I found myself in that situation I would think of the phrase "Let Go and Let God". Sometimes you just have to give it up to a "higher power" and stop struggling and striving if it is getting you deeper and deeper into a place you don't want to be. Seek the help of others with your basic survival needs, if necessary. Read "The Language of Letting Go" by Melody Beattie, and it will help put your head and heart back into a better place.

Possibly an attitude adjustment is in order. Whenever I've felt that way (and it's been a really long time since I've gone through that myself) I just have to take a few, or a lot of, steps away from the situation and focus on something else. Sometimes it takes awhile but I eventually see why things went the way they did and if I'd allowed myself to wallow in the mire, so to speak, it would have stayed that way. As it turned out, all I needed to do was change my perspective and just let go.

Well, first you need to really look at what's wrong.
If you have your health, and your family's health, then take comfort from this.
If you have a roof over your head, then take comfort from this also.
It could always be worse...
Look at everything that has led you up to this point and think about not how to fix it but how to improve for the future, or how you will do things differently.
Ask friends and family for advice. Without knowing exactly whats gone wrong, I can't help you much further I'm afraid.

I would need specifics to help you, but I would say be nice, all around. You will get more friends and feel better every day. Excersise(don't make fun of my spelling) and take a daily vitamin with at least 8 oz of water to help you feel better. Take a walk down a scenic road with lots of plants and not a lot of car traffic. Read a book. Do whatever you love to do. If you need to, go back to school for something you love.

I hear every one say it will get better, but the truth, the real truth is that some times it will not get better. At least if you do nothing to change your self. Some times we need to look inside at what we can do to change are lives. To better your self is a very hard thing if you think it will do it on its' own.
Look at your friends, your behavior and find the part that is your down fall. Then get rid of it.
Change is good. Embrace it. And try to surround your self with positive things, and people.

Go find someone to work with, a couselor, etc...., that can help you. I bet if you let yourself, you would find things that are positive and rewarding in your life.
Family, friends, personal ability in something, etc... Focus on the good, learn from the bad.
Step back and look at your situation. If you had a friend come to you, and say they had the sames problems that you have, what things would you say to them to help them, to motivate them, to teach them.
Look at your self as other do, with a critical eye, to make yourself a happier person..
Now get on with life.

First of all, Tyler.....Breathe. Take in deep breaths slowly and then release. The one thing that we do when we become upset or anxious in our lives is we forget to breathe correctly and sometimes hyperventilate or hold our breaths. Now, don't you feel somewhat more calm. Everyone goes through periods in their life where it seems everything is going wrong. Remember Tyler, there are people who are in worse positions than yourself and I believe that if God brought you to it, he will get you through it. I am not a religious freak, but I am spiritual. Take it moment to moment, hour to hour, day to day and don't forget to breathe. Things will slowly get better as long as you remain calm and breathe. Sometimes it's ok to cry or get angry....do it and then get over it. Move forward, remain calm and don't forget to breathe.

Turn it around. You do have the power to do this. Surround yourself with only positive thing. Life takes twists and turns, it will be right again. Also, whatever it is stay away from the negative.
Keep you head up, everything will be okay!

Fix what you can. Hold steadfast on the things you can't. Life is a roller coaster and it will NOT be like it is forever. In the meantime, try to remain positive. Something good will come out of all of this.

Stop immediately. Sit and write down all the problems you have, make them the negatives. The write down all you have achieved and all that is good, make that the positive.
Ok, now, take each problem one by one and take time to resolve it, ask for help if you need to, when that is done, add it to your achievements, your positives, and work through this slowly and carefully. Soon, there will no negatives. Ok
