I heard there was a shortage some time ago. I am qualifed to sub here in CA, but not in NV. I have a double major in Special ED and Child Development. I am looking to relocate and want to go where there is a need for Substitutes. Does anyone know?

Yes they need teachers here badly. My stepmom works in personnel at the school district.

The only thing to beware is the cost of living here compared to what teachers make. I'm sure you're used to a high cost of living in CA, but I don't think the teacher-pay:cost of living here is very good and that's one of the reasons we have problems finding teachers.
