Republicans "fight and die"? where, in the White house as Georgey is doing? Or , again in the White House as Nixon DID? How many republicans actually enlist in the Armed Forces? No I'm thinking your wrong about that comment. The republicans are the people whose cars have license plates from the States up in Canada

We have liberals who are fighting just as hard to bring soldiers home. We have liberals, so diplomacy is always an option. We have liberals to ensure civil liberties are protected. We have liberals the fight and die for this country just as often. We have liberals at the helm of major wars, Wilson WWI, FDR/Truman WWII.
It is the GOP that has extended tours to 15 months, and got the United States caught in the middle of a religious civil war. It was George W. Bush that did away with habaeus corpus, and has OKed domestic spying.
Maybe you should be asking why we have conservatives.

Who created the programs that made sure your medicine was actually medicine and not just flavored water?
Liberals.
Who made sure your food didn't have rats and bugs mixed into it?
Liberals.
Who made sure that when you put money in the bank, that it was protected and would be there if you came back for it?
Liberals.
Who has tried to increase the quality of living for all people, regardless of age, gender, creed, or income?
Sure wasn't Right Wing Conservatives, that's for sure.

You got it all wrong. Its the liberals who fight and die for the rich fat cats. How many of their children do you see sign up because of a bonus or for college .
