Well Georgie, if I had seen this question before the same thing happened to the Red Sox, I would have been thrilled..lol..But actually, since the Sox lost also, I am even happier that it happened to the Yankees..Also glad the Jays lost. :)

Georgie why do you ask questions that does not concern your team any chance to hate on the Yankees and well they lost 2- 1 in 13 innings but see what bonderman did in the first he allowed 2 run but just stick to the tigers not the Yankees

It was fun watching Cairo make that throwing error. I felt bad for Cairo, but not the Yankees. And to all who said we were down 2-0 on Ortiz's home run, we won 3-2 in 13 innings. We actually won when we were given extra innings.

I wish the Yanks would 162 lose games. I know that will never happen but as a Red Sox fan I always enjoy a Yankee loss.

They gave up as many runs in 13 innings as Detroit did today in ... 1 inning.
Boston's winning, 2-0, against Detroit on an Ortiz HR? How happy are you guys about THAT? Personally, I don't think it's gonna make a difference, as Cleveland will pull ahead in the second half in the Central, and Minnesota will pull a 2nd half 2006 and overtake Detroit to win the Wild Card.
