If youre not married to this 3rd person then yes its adultery and can be used as grounds for divorce. It is also the leading cause for many marital problems behind finances. Am not sure what youre looking for exactly under legal ramifications, sorry

Committing adultery is just wrong. It does have legal consequences also. Like say the cheater and the "lover" can be sued for adultery (and it does happen alot). It is automatic grounds for divorce. If you have children the court will see it fit that the children go to the person who didn't cheat. The cheater may have supervised visitation rights with the child and that's if the cheater gets lucky enough for that. A restraining order can be put against both the cheater and the lover. It does go on your permanent record if taken to court. All in all just bad so don't do it.

Yes. It is STILL adultery. Yes, there are specific legal ramifications EVEN if your spouse says it's ok. She can always say later she never agreed.

Best answer: Take the energy you are investing in this proposition and focus it on your wife.

In the end of the divorce, the only winner is the attorney!

Best Regards!!

To me it is adultery when you cheat on your spouse no matter what.

Legal ramifications?? How about just moral ramifications?

Why do it?

Why not be out of the norm and be an upstanding man who keeps to one woman??

That to me means so much more.
