Bobcats executive vice president Bernie Bickerstaff says the team continues to talk with free agent Gerald Wallace, but nothing has yet been resolved.

The Observer's Rick Bonnell thinks the Cats still have a good chance of re-signing Wallace, and that their greatest danger of losing him was avoided when the Magic signed Rashard Lewis. No team can acquire Wallace via sign-and-trade without the Bobcats’ cooperation, which obviously works in their favor. Bonnell says Wallace wants to remain in Charlotte and the fact they can offer six years and a bit more money than anyone else still leads him to believe he'll remain in Charlotte.

first of all they can't afford him, especially with nowinskis and howards contracts second of all he wants to stay in charlotte, i mean who wouldn't they have young talent an experienced small forward in Jason richardson and o by the way the east sucks! if okafor and sean may can stay healthy they have a CHANCE at the playoffs

I think he needs to go to a team where he'll have playing time.Dallas has Howard so he'd be better off somewhere like Indiana or Philadelphia.

I think he should go to Minnesota and play the shooting guard and let Corey Brewer play the small forward and Garnett the power. Their problem would be solved.....
Or, go to toronto
