is going to end in 2012???? because i dont really know what to believe....im still a bit skeptical here....can u clear this up for me?????

Ya know, the aztecs, mayans, or incas (one of them i cant remember) predicted the end of the world in 2012. they made an accurate calendar and did some other pretty amazing things. hopefully they got this one wrong.
cuz, idk..i'd like to live past the age of 20.

The odds are in favor of the world not ending in 2012. Evidence that it might end then, rather than, say, day-after-tomorrow, or in the year 357,677 ce, doesn't exist.
So probably it won't end in 2012.
On the other hand, the Coincidence Coordinators love irony.
Maybe we'll get a lovely solar flare. Those could happen any time.
Or, a new virulent airborne virus with a long lag-time between infection and manifested symptoms, with a high fatality rate.
But probably those won't happen. And if they do, they probably won't happen in 2012.
More likely it will be the virus thing, and it's already happened, but we just haven't all gotten the blind staggers yet.
Something to look forward to.

There is just as much evidence that the world will end in 2008,2009,2010 etc. ad nauseum. The world WILL end July 5th 1998 at 7:00am though, and their is TONS of HARD evidence for that. See link below.

My understanding is that the world "as we currently know it" will, fortunately, come to an end: hypermaterialism, violence, low consciousness, greed, heartlessness- all that makes the republican party what it is--just kidding--will draw to a close. It will be replaced by higher frequency living which tends to make one kinder, more tolerant, more peaceful--all that "higher vibes" do for a person and his/her consciousness. Supposedly a more 5th as opposed to 3rd dimensional way of being will come into effect.
One can only hope :))

Very often the talk about end of world arises.The world will not end that easily. It may take some millions of years to start ending.But the end of humanity is fast approaching.

If it is going to end that soon every still acts very interested in keeping it going. Wouldn't there be complete chaos if there were only a few years left?

I don't think there is evidence. No one can predict what will happen 7952648 years from now anyways.

I hadn't heard that and I think that if they had any real evidence, it would have been on the news or something.
