Don't forget the stage equipment, tour buses, jets to get them there and garbage left on the ground by concert attendees.
I would guess these concerts are just a feel good attempt by celebrities who feel they should use their "celebrity" to bring change to the world, make it a better place.
Non stop concerts to promote global warming is as ridiculous as starting a forest fire to point out how dangerous a cigarette butt thrown into a dry forest can be.
