Nahh...
just like last year with 6/6/06...nothing really bad happened. I watched The Omen and it was a good movie and that was pretty much it...
I don't know what the fuss is all about.

I can understand why people in 3rd world countries understand it, because some of them aren't taught any better, so they honestly believe 7 is a lucky number, therefore 3 7's in a row must be very lucky. I don't believe it should be made such a big deal in the US. The day is almost over and I'm sure a lot of people have had pretty normal days.

Our calender is based on an arbitrary measurement of time, that was invented to keep track of human events.
'Numerology' is an imaginary study of the significance of certain numbers.
So, combine a fake pursuit (numerology) with an arbitrary measurement of time (calender), and what do you get? Nothing.
Besides, it's 07/07/2007. So, on top of the facts above, you have to alter the numbers, TOO. It's silly.

I think people are way overreacting to it. Its true that from a mystical point of view, it's a magic number. But that doesn't mean miracles are gonna happen, or wars are gonna stop, or people are gonna be better, or anything that starts today will be successful (i.e. a marriage). There's more complexity in life than that.

NO! i just got finished preforming a wedding ceremony and told the couple, that if they are rushing the decision to get married so they can be married on this date they are doing it for the wrong reason
