I have not seen the film, Mindwalk.. but to answer your question.. I'd say.. Yes!

A totally brand new way of looking at our world is more than just a need and asking the very largest of questions about our future is not merely a matter of intellectual curiosity.. it is a matter of SURVIVAL!

Face with violent changes, a massed chorus of Cassandras fills the air with doom-song.. the proverbial man in the street says the world has gone mad, while the expert points to all the trends leading toward catastrophe. We all stare in horror and the governments of the world are reduced to paralysis of imbecility.

"Old ways of thinking, old formulas, dogmas, and ideologies, no matter how cherished or how useful in the past, no longer fit the facts. The world that is fast emerging from the clash of new values and technologies, new geopolitical relationships, new lifestyles and modes of communication, demands wholly new ideas and analogies, classifications and concepts. We cannot cram the embryonic world of tomorrow into yesterday's conventional cubbyholes.. nor are the orthodox attitudes or moods appropriate." - The Third Wave

When I was a Marxist during my late teens and early twenties, I.. like many young people thought I had all the answers.. I soon learned that my "answers" were partial, one-sided and obsolete! A totally brand new way of looking at our world.. scientifically, philosophically, politically.. is like I said, more than just a need.. it is a matter of survival!

Whether we know it or not, most of us are already engaged in either resisting.. or.. creating.. a new world.

Yes, we need to start with relearning the basics of life- care for ourselves, then our family and home and then we can learn to care for others within our own country. When we have mastered that we can move onto caring for those in other countries and extend this to an entire global outlook. So I guess we need to start with our own country- beginning with training children and young adults to have self respect- money needs to be used to put them on army style training camps where they learn to cook, clean clothes, organise their belongings and work responsibly with other youngsters. They need to lose their material belongings and learn the more important values in life as they are our future.

seeing a new world starts with you, you gotta let go of all the garbage in your head, some call it being enlightened, it takes time and practice, im working on it myself, once you start to become enlightened, you will start to see people as they are stupid, then you have to work to overcome that too.
