Get a free typing program online.

The trick to learning how to type is knowing where to put your fingers. Every finger has it's own spot on the keyboard and once you learn where it is all you have to do is practice using it to build muscle memory.

Here is a list of freeware typing programs. http://typingsoft.com/all_typing_tutors.htm#Stamina

Okay, Mavis may be the best software typing tutor, but it's far from the most fun. You want a PC copy of The Typing of the Dead, a remake of the The House of the Dead 2 with a twist: instead of blowing zombies away with a light gun, you type the word or phrase that floats in front of them. There are some drills and tutorials included. You can pick the game up for almost nothing online or in software store bargain bins.

1) I'm not sure if they have this where you live. But where I live, many Spanish or Mexican restaurants have latin / mexican dancing. Often there is an instruction period before the open dancing begins, where a teacher leads you through and gives you an introduction to the steps. It doesn't matter how old you are. 2) If you are really serious, modern dance is a lot of fun, and great exercise. You could actually make a profession or career of it, because many modern dance companies make a point of hiring diverse dancers of many ages, shapes and sizes.

Go play TyperShark for free on popcap.com

If you think you want your own copy permanently, pay for the downloadable version with more features.

You can also get versions of Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing in most Office Supply / Computer stores for about $10-20.
