Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore slammed the United States and some other big polluters for forming what he called a sham global warming pact separate from the rest of the world.

Hopefully - yes.

Junk science is junk science. And when the global warming proponents refuse to allow for their theory to be questioned - it is junk science.

Under the Bush administration, the US has formed a group to fight global warming that has something Kyoto never had: over 50% of the polluters. It consists of the USA, China, Japan, India, and Australia. The idea is to have a REALISTIC/WORKABLE plan; not something that sounds nice but is useless. The US does not dodge it but certainly wants no part of efforts that punish the USA but let developing countries set to soon pass the USA in carbon output pollute as much as they want nor can a US President sign a compact that is aimed to destroy the US economy so others, especially continentals, can be more competitive at the USA's expense without being impeached.

I'm really surprised that someone as stupid as Al Gore even knows of that treaty; the media certainly never mentioned it. I suppose it would have made President Bush look too good for their liking.

Why should the USA sign the treaty when two of the major polluters China and India are excluded from the treaty. All it would do is force more American companies to move to (guess where ) India and China. If Al Gore really believed what he is trying to sell the public he would first take his own advice and stop polluting.

One reason why is because the U.S. may not have some of the higher tech, less polluting stuff needed. What a good solution would be is to fund research for better methods. A way to get money for that would be to stop supporting illegal immigrants and stop foreign aid. Whatever happened to putting America first, anyway? But the nation is definitely not doing what it should.

Yes i believe the united states will keep dodging global warming efforts because united states likes to cause problems. The united states have caused MANY problems, like the Iraq war and 9/11. It is all Bush's fault. He is such a damn monkey and has no idea what he is doing. He needs to help stop global warming and get the troops out. We need to save them while we can. He is the one that crashed the planes in the twin towers. He is the one that killed all those people. He is the one that almost destroyed the pentagon. He blames it on the muslim terrorists. The muslims are being hassled because of him. Not all muslims are terrorists and he needs to stop blaming muslims for everything. He is a dumbass!!! And america is being destroyed because of him, slowly but surely.
