The one on the driver's side will gradually move further and further up (depending on how fast I'm going) until it goes completely off the windshield and gets stuck. I've had to drive several times in the rain with my hand out the window and on the windshield to keep this from happening so I won't wreck.

lift the cove where the arm attaches to the body, you will see a nut that will be loose. set the arm in the correct position and tighten the nut. if that dosen't fix the problem you will need a new wiper arm.

Some wiper arms are held on with a nut. Others are held on with a spring clip. Either way it is pretty sure the spines are ruined in the wiper arm and maybe on the motor shaft as well. The clip type can just be pryed off with a screwdriver or heel bar. Mindful of the paint job. The other gentleman allready explained how to remove the type with a nut.

other the other guys have stated it`s the teeth have wore or it`s not torqued enough. before scrapping the wiper arm. wrap a layer of aluminum foil around the shaft then install the arm. I have seen this work cause it`s enough to fill the void and tighten it up. Can`t break what`s already broke .
