okay so why is everyone being so negative. not everyone knows about global warming. I do think everyone made some good points but really not everyone in the world knows or cares about global warming. For those who don't care maybe live earth will bring them to their senses. Plus I've heard them mention a lot of the things going on in africa and starving children. Not everyone knows about what is going on in Darfur with rape or with blood diamonds(not the movie) even though it was based on that. So I think this is bringing awareness to those who don't know and maybe slapping those who do but don't care in the face. Besides it's a free concert to watch on t.v. with a lot of great bands.

Its all about credibility.

1. Most of the gore crowd are hyprocrits as most of them are bigger poluters than the vast majority of people.
Gore himself does more on his own to pollute than a thousand people do.

2. Concert - N0 expert was at the concert therefore no evidence to support global warming was presented.

3. The science about global warming, ignore s the the facts that we have been at the tail end of a 35 year warming trend are are entering a coolling trend.

4. The global warming stuff ignores historical reality and the actually statistics that prove that the 'global warming' simulations are wrong.

5. Most of the global warming is ignoring the realiyt that man itself only accounts for less than 2% of all global warming and that even without man, the co2 increases is actually a good thing for plants & vegitation. And will not impact our air enough to matter.

I haven't been watching the New York concert although the BBC is showing the concert but I got bored with the whole show. Being lectured to by wealthy pop stars who own private jets gas guzzling cars who fly all over the world on a regular basis leaves a bigger carbon footprint than I do and I only fly once every 2 years. But to defend them a little I know for the London concert they were trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible by using biodegradable food packaging energy saving lighting rigs and so forth. So they tried to be environmentally friendly even though it was a concert being watched all over the world.

of course it somewhat is being hypocritical. As are maximum of those fundraising stay shows. Its all approximately prepare. Its no longer truly approximately doing something concerning to human beings that choose the help. Its like Bono from U2 banging on approximately poverty and international starvation, jointly as he has tens of millions stashed away interior the financial organisation. If he cares that lots, then why don't you supply all of it to charity and survive a typical salary (like something human beings). of course this stay Earth crap is dropping somewhat some capability and gas. purely as Al Gore, who's so in contact approximately international warming, is going swanning international in an aeroplane chucking out fumes in to the air. we choose fundraising events organised by genuine people who care, no longer politicians who're doing those issues at the back of a political profession, or new e book or purely exposure. it would be diverse if the stay shows have been any good, even though it type of feels truly torpid. The crowds are not entering into it. purely appears like a waste of time, attempt and money.

And music preformers are experts on global warming since when? Maybe if they shut up for a minute all that hot air they release wouldnt be warming this planet.

Seriously, these people are traitors to the industry. Rock and Roll is about rebelling against the machine. These traitors are financing it out of sheer ignorance.

Right, supporting Gore will "cure" global warming. I suppose you have done your part by giving money to the promoters. This live earth thing is the biggest scam the corporations have pulled yet. They are not DOING anything. Just a bunch of musicians and idealistic children using up electricity in order to listen to music. Nothing wrong with that but call it what it is. It is a concert put on by performers that are creating huge profits for corporations that cause pollution. You people don't appear to be very intelligent now do you?

Oh yes, I shoudl support a undertaking which is generating tons of garbage and using and exhorbant amount of energy to "raise awareness"

This concert idea is a joke, all they care about is raising awareness to their pocketbooks.
