Good Find...but sadly they will not listen to those who are IN Iraq..only those who are looking to sell some speech time after their military careers have ended.

I don't think people in the US have the patience to see if this surge will work. The president and the general would make a report in September yet people are all ready against it before its all in place.

I see some area in Iraq that are starting to go against the terrorist, and changing tactics used by terrorist. When your opponent changes tactics that usually means its because your doing something right.

Is the US losing this war military, that's what should be asked, not someone's personal opinion because of what they think about Bush? remember how long it took the USA to recover from Vietnam. I guess some people want the same thing to happen all over again.

I bear in mind those costs...they are from the rest room Stossel interview, ideal? i think of he's particularly sane. What, in basic terms because of the fact he adheres to the form, he's insane? i be conscious of that is not a uncomplicated element to be a constitutionalist in immediately's modern society, regrettably, despite the fact that that is American as American gets. "is it not real that all and sundry it takes for evil to triumph is for sturdy adult males to do not something" real, yet what we've carried out is obviously the incorrect element. how are you able to argue that is not? Ron Paul additionally suggested the ingredient that we've ousted Saddam, yet on an identical time have borrowed $10's of billions from China to grant Musharraf; a protection stress dictator who overthrew an elected government. ....is that an act you think of is sane?

I'm not on the left. I would think If a General were to say that he would not still be in Iraq and I believe that has happened. There are Generals in this country who have said that. A lot of military minds including Republicans have said as much.
Here is a link to what a retired General who was our top guy in the Middle East had to say about the way this war has been conducted.

No it's not true, you thought wrong, "the left" never said all the generals in Iraq agree we shouldn't be there. Who ever claimed that NONE of the generals in Iraq think we should be there? That's preposterous.

You offer a video of one general saying that it will be a disaster if we leave, so anybody who might have said such a thing was clearly wrong.

Now, do you deny that there are ANY current or former generals who think that we shouldn't have invaded Iraq the way we did?

Really? Not ANY?

There are literally hundreds of active, guard, reserve, and retired generals. Hell, if you include admirals and the coast guard, there might be a thousand. Many support the war completely, some are adamantly opposed, and the rest believe in being policy neutral, no matter what. You can't suggest that all one this or the other.

The left has been at their crystal ball of late again. This must be true because they keep spewing out "facts" that simply can't be sourced for any real validity. For instance, the Iraqi people want us out - they know this even without asking them? Maj Gen Joesph Toluto, for example, is "adamant most people in Iraq want a free and independent country" and the Kurds damned sure don't want us to leave.
It must be nice to know all of these things when so much controversy is clouding the facts and different opinions are so prevalent.

The generals that are afraid of Bush and Cheney will not speak out until after they retire. Common sense. It is also grounds for discharge in the milliary to speak out against the Commander.
Why did so many Generals "cut and run" from Iraq?

Not all the generals agree, some do. In school I was taught that if anyone says the words, "all, always, never, etc." That is not the truth, so I could not believe what you had to tell me in your question, some generals do and some generals don't. That is the truth.

no. most of the citizens want us there. we allowed them to take a vote, and the majority wants us to stay. All the generals want us there. They already negotiated to join forces with the US because the admited their military was of weak force.
