I have just purchased an impact wrench, got it home and oiled it. When I try to use it, it will barely turn a nut that I manually loosened. It is suppose to work at 5.0CFM@90PSI, as is my compressor, and I think I have the regulator set to 90 PSI. What should I do? I don't won't to take it back, should I? Thanks!

I also tried setting the regulator on the wrench at 1 and 4. This does not help either.

The air hose diameter is 3/8" which is also the recommended hose size for the mpact wrench. Thanks!

You state you think the regulator is set at 90 pounds? You need to put a pressure guage in-line preferably next to the tool to make sure you have enough air going it before you take it back and end up embarrassed. Filter/separator on the compressor? Obstructions in air hoses? Hose size? Intake screen on the tool? If you have pressure but lack volume the tool would perform well for a few seconds then die away.
