Global warming is a natural process....our Earth has handled it several times in the past on its own...it really doesn't need our help.

Terrorism is a problem that needs to be solved now. Terrorism is a growing threat that will not go away. It was ignored in the previous administration and now we are paying for the lack of response.

Terrorists will stop at nothing to see us all dead.

Global warming is a threat that will be taken care of by nature. Terrorism is a threat that needs to be dealt with now.

Terrorism, while unlikely and if left unchecked, could cause a chain of events that brings the world into a new dark age. Global warming will likely cause some serious disruptions in world order as economics and power centers change. Both are more of an inconvenience then a tragedy to mankind since the dark ages scenario is a remote possibility. But since terrorism could lead to nuclear weapons use and who knows where that would lead, I'd have to say terrorism is the worst threat.

Global Warming is a long term natural occurrence, which man has a very small part in.
Terrorism is a man made thing which man will eventually control.
Of the two I believe terrorism is potentially the greatest threat if they are able to get a hold of nuclear weapons, as they could kill off all of mankind.
Global Warming will not, as the equator area will still be livable

Islamic terrorism poses the biggest threat, partly because in countries such as the UK, the government still doesn't accept that terrorism is caused by religious extremism. The British government still labours under the delusion that Islamic terrorism happens because of British foreign policy in Iraq, but this is irrational. There has been Islamic terrorism ever since the 1970s when the Ayatollah first officially declared 'war on the west'.

Terrorism. And to the person who said we can stop terrorism - I like your optimism, mate! If we can stop it, why the feck is it still going strong?

Re: Global warming: All the scientists seem to be conveniently forgetting the Ice Age, etc. As far as I'm aware, there were no jet engines, electricity and everything else that's being blamed for G.W. now.

Global warming. In the case of terrorism, we can stop it, and terrorist incidents are isolated events and don't impact on the whole world. But with global warming, the damage has already been done. We cannot stop it, only slow it down.

Both are a very bad gig. I fear for my beautiful grandchildren but I guess I won't be around forever and I just hope we get our act together, on both counts, to preserve a good life for our future generations. In any case, most people remain untouched by terrorism. They watch it on tv and feel sad for those affected. In terms of global warming, it has already come to my part of the world; horrific floods in Sheffield and Hull, at the height of summer....

TERRORISM I believe is the biggest threat.....If we are not here in twenty years because of it...I guess global warming won't really matter much.

Global warming will wipe out terrorism and the insects can take over the earth after the human life has been wiped out.

Either way we are doomed, we are wiping ourselves out with low birth rates and using destructive means for power, the bright spark that invented nuclear weapons....

Oh crap!!! when is the next shuttle to the moon...

I'm off
