I read an article today about many people would get married today because of the supposed good luck. What are your thoughts?

It's the day Jesus is supposed to come back, and the day the world ends and the day we all find happiness and the day things get great for mankind...
I haven't seen Jesus, or heard of any sightings.
I'm still expecting to get hit by a meteor.
I haven't found "complete happiness"
There is still war all over the world.
I can go on and on... I don't see why it should have any significance. It's just another day that some people couldn't pass up to make money off fools who believe in superstitions. The only people who got lucky today were the business owners who played with this superstition.
To the business owner, very significant.
To anyone else, probably not so much.

Anyone who chose this date specifically becasue of the "luck" is a little dumb. Saying today would be lucky is almost the same as saying the world would end on june 6th last year (6-6-06), if that was true the world would have ended every hundred years(duh to anyone who didn't realize that). Another thing about it is that the date isn't actually 7-7-7 it is 7-7-07, making have nothing to do with the 777 lucky myth thing. Really, the belief that their would be anything lucky about today shows the overall ultimate stupidity of the human race.

I love 777!
Seven has always been my lucky number and I've been wating for this day for many years. I know something amazing or life changing is going to happen to me today and I can't wait!
7 is also the number of all the good things in the Bible. It's also my Dad's birthday today!!!
Seven is a very good number. I would love to get married today but it's too soon. We're getting married on the 17 of May!

Half of them will divorce as usual but they all will remember when they got hitched. 7-7-7 can't be lucky for everybody. Its just another day, albeit a hopeful one for a lot of people.

Yes, lots of marriages today. At least, all those folks should be able to remember their anniversaries.
As for us, at this house, it has been a very difficult day, so far.

Just another day and date.Thank about this for everyone that thanks it is going to bring Good luck by gambling when they one the place where they gambled they lost So it all balances out.
Our luckiest day will be our first day in Heaven if we have Jesus in our heart.

Yeah, it's my cousin's wedding day. She had to book things over a year in advance.
