no, i don't think that the two party system has surpassed it's usefulness although i do wish the other smaller parties got a bigger vote in the election. i don't believe that the ideological differences between both parties have espoused into tyranny because there will always a few people who campaign for smaller, limited government, and who want to help the american people. although being asked to choose to vote between the lesser of two evils is still evil it means that there is more good in the less evil person than in the more evil person. some one whom the people can tell what to do. i'm pretty comfortable with the two party system but i do wish that the democrats didn't have so much bias towards them like they've been accumulating in the past 20-30 years. i think it's effective in addressing political concerns but i do wish we could get better, more effective candidates who think for themselves! i think a third party person could do it but a third party candidate hasn't run in a long time, if at all.
