The two cannot exist in the same universe. If the force is irresistible then it cannot be resisted by any barrier. If the barrier cannot be penetrated by anything at all, then it follows that the force cannot be said to be irresistible.

I think the force will back up on itself and go elsewhere. A simple analogy is to press a tennis ball against a brick wall. The gas inside the tennis ball can only resist for so long, but it will rebound sometime.

I don't think such a thing could exist,but if it did and if both forces had the same power.They would both remain where they are.Neither going nowhere fast.
