They say never judge a book by it's cover but I think the way a person dresses gives you a little peek on the inside.

I believe you can tell a lot about a person by their dress.
1. Cleanliness
2. Modesty
3. Field of Work sometimes but can be deceiving
4. Often - poor, middle class or rich but can be deceiving
5. Sometimes character but can be deceiving
6. Sometimes conduct but also can be deceiving
You can tell a lot about a person by looking at their appearance, but you can also be deceived.
However, it is not what goes on a man or in a man that defiles the man, it is what comes out of the man that defiles the man. So when a person speaks you have a better opportunity of determining a good or evil person. This is the best way to recognize the personality, because look s are deceiving.

People don't always have complete choice about what they wear, and what choice they do have may be limited by their ability to find and buy the clothes that they'd most like to wear.
However, among people who do have the resources to buy and wear whatever they want to, the clothes one chooses do send signals about such things as how much one wants to be noticed (and by whom), how much one cares about conforming to what everyone else is doing, etc.
I'm an author, and I can manipulate what you think about one of my characters by telling you what that imaginary person is wearing. Naturally, this technique works in real life, too. People make assumptions about others based on what those others are wearing, and we know this is true when we choose what clothes to wear.
What clothes people wear, what tats or piercings they do or don't have, whether or not they color their hair...these are small reflections of personality. But they are only a small part of the total picture. They certainly can't ever tell you all you need to know about someone. How people interact with other people is a much better measure of personality than what they wear.

sometimes yes. but you cant clarify their mood cz some people just dont know how to dress good. so for someone who is not a fashionista an old-fashioned outfit might be something to be proud of and wear it on special occasions. however when YOU see this person you may think, oh that poor guy he / she is very sad but he maybe be not! and the second example i can give u is with rich people. have u ever saw paris in a fashion crisis?? never. not even when she went to jail. so its not up to that. sometimes it is but its not all the people in the world that think this like it really is. so the judgment wont be fair..!

well yes I think so..... If people can afford to buy their own clothes, as most of us in the western world are, then we choose how we come across to others. How we present ourselves to the world is a reflection of our personality. It's what we choose to let people see first. it is said that we decide about people in the first few moments of seeing them - rightly or wrongly. There's a lot more to be said on this subject though, and some people use their clothes to hide behind, or to confirm outwardly to what they think is expected of them.

Clothes can reflect different things about one's personality, though they don't always. Clothes can be sporty, dressy, casual, gothic, preppy, romantic, etc. They can show how modest a person is and how much they care about their appearance.

not really
sometimes you can because we dress to how we are..
but with todays fashion trends etc, not so much
a little tiny bit maybe.
for example if they wear revealing clohtes etc you can assume theyre comofrtable with themselves.. high confidence etc
if they cover up theyre probably modest or conservative

Not always. Color-blindness is very common. I myself no longer wear things which are confusing to my eyes. Though my apparel tends to look unexciting to others, my choices are from simple necessity.
