OK, I bought this set to embroider some butterflies and flowers onto some jeans for my daughter. No laughing allowed.
The thing is I don't get it. I bought this set and it came with these white transfers that have all the design elements and floss. and Instructions. OK, I get that your supposed to stitch the floss.
What do you do? I'm not understanding. Am I supposed to cut these elements out of there sheets and iron it onto the jeans? If I do that the white is bound to show through when I finish the stitchin. From the picture it appears that it's just fabric underneath, no white backing. ???? I don't understand what I'm supposed to do. Any help would be appreciated. You can email me as well if you need to. Thanks.

Cut out the transfer you want to use. Lay out the jeans and decide where you want the transfer to be. Iron the spot where you want the transfer to be so the jeans are warm and have no wrinkles. Lay the transfer face down on the jeans and place the iron on top if the transfer. Do not "iron" -- that is, do not move the iron back and forth. This may smear the transfer. "Press" instead. Pressing means putting the iron straight down on the transfer paper, letting it sit for a few seconds (not long enough to scorch the transfer paper), picking it up and laying it down again on another spot of the transfer (always supposing that the transfer is that big.)

The white washes out eventually.

OK, if you want to iron on the embroidery to the jeans, you might want to try a product called heat-n-bond or something like that. They sell it at Walmart and other craft stores and what it does is it makes a tacky bond on both the jeans and the back of the designs to bond together. Cut the elements out when you are done. Try and cut as close as you can without cutting the stitches, although you can probably re-stitch if needed. Give that a try and see what happens. I hope this helps, and I am not laughing at all.

I'd take it all back for cash. Get some premade patches and sew them on the jeans. I use dental floss. A lot less hassle than embroidery.

Oh fess up. You didn't even know there were directions. Now that you know, just follow them. I'm sure that if it's a white transfer, it's meant to fade away in a few hours or after the first washing.

Maybe the thread is for additional embroidery. What do the instructions say?

You've got me. Your first mistake was in reading the directions. I never do that! If it can't be put together with some duct tape and a stapler..............I throw it away!
Good luck. Hope you find someone who knows how to do it!
