I wonder if vasectomies are reversible?

Yes, they are. However, the longer you go between having one and the reversal lowers the chances of success. Having had one I can honestly say that you need to make sure it's what you want, because the pain for the next couple of days is quite interesting. Also, make certain you don't want kids later in life. I haven't regretted mine, but I know a lot of guys who HAVE regretted theirs.

Yes, but from what I hear it is painful to reverse and no guarantee that it will work. Be sure you are done having kids before you have a vasectomy, I would not want to reverse mine.

There is a good rate of success at using micro-surgury to reverse vasectomies. It is usually very expensive, though, and most medical insurance won't pay for them. Why would you want to reverse one, anyway? There are too many people on the planet as it is.

It depends on how the vasectomy was performed but I was advised by my doc that it is reversable in around 70% of cases. It involves microsurgery where the vas deferens is re-joined, where previously it was cut.

They are reversible but it's not 100%, why not just fill a few jars before hand and keep them in the freezer.

Yes, but in cases like mine where the doc cut out 2cm and cauterized the ends, it's unlikely. If the ends were merely cut and tucked back and sewed up, it's possible.

They are but it is not guaranteed and most insurance companies will not pay for a reversal.

They are, but very expensive and painful. You should check around to see if there is like a sperm storage facility in your area that will freeze your sperm in case you want to have children in the future.

I believe they can be, but I don't think it happens 100% of the time. So think carefully about getting one in the first place.
