Yeah, all day, every day, for the past THREE days. It's the latest rage. I'll share with you my latest copy and paste. It saves SO much time. LOL

Here is my canned response to this question:

Yes, about 100 times in the past three days .. right here. :)

That's why I'm switching to become a Democrat and will be volunteering to work on Hillary's campaign. She's SO much better.

BTW, we're under a tornado watch here. Are you, my friend?

Fred Thompson did not "aid Nixon on Watergate." That is a gross departure from the facts. Not that the media ever really cares much about facts... Thompson was a prosecutor. He gave some discovery to the other side. Did he abuse his discretion? Only one who knows other than Thompson is dead. It's how stuff gets done. Read the US Constitution.

just goes to show you how the Pubs play, and he wants to play President for real this time.
to the person complaining about going back in time to "smear" him, here is more recent happenings:
He has been a lobbyist since 1975 with a break for the time he spent in the Senate. As soon as he left Congress, back to the lobby merry go round .
He lobbied for pharmaceutical companies, the same ones that gouge us and helped to engineer that travesty of a prescription drug bill that denies the government the ability to negotiate for lower prices. This happened in this millenia, 2002 since people are hung up on a story that is supposedly 30 years old.

1994: Thompson Opposed Criminalizing Abortion.
1996: Thompson Supported Public Financing of Abortions

Thompson voted for the 2002 Andean Trade Bill which extended duty-free status to certain products from Bolivia, Columbia, Ecuador, and Peru which has now proven to be detrimental to the textile industry in S.C.
In addition
Thompson worked for Equitas, a London company lobbying Congress to limit liability for asbestos-related illnesses-a substance that ironically might be a contributing factor to the deteriorating respiratory health of the estimated 43,000 workers who helped with clean up after 9/11

Also someone asked out the story you referenced in your question

I Love it when the Lib's run scared. Nixon was a very good President he cleaned up the mess you all love to cry about in Vietnam. We Republicans are always cleaning up your mess. And Nixon just got caught at least the right held him accountable unlike the left when Clinton was impeached. The right and the left let polls decide (sick) Polls are run by the left and why they even give them the time of day. Fred has the left worried all you have to do is go to youtube and see his reply to that pic fat Micheal Moore. he is standing up to the left and he is putting it your face.
Go Fred you might have a back bone some thing the DC boys don't have.
Don't forget all of the dead people who went agaisnt Clinton the worst after Jimmy Castro Carter.

It may be a different era, but it says a lot about the man himself and that doesn't change. Support who you want, but don't complain once you know the person's history when you get double-crossed by dirty dealing.

I guess the dems really are scared of him, to be attacking him (by getting these kinds of stories into the press) before he even enters the race is very amusing. Hillary must be scarred.

The dems are so brave they can't even debate on Fox news!

I presume as a lawyer? Doesn't even the worst criminal need a good lawyer? Nothing wrong with that.

Liberal bias in the media raises its ugly head AGAIN.
They continue to make fun of Nixon and accuse him of lying time after time, UNTIL they find something he said that fits their agenda. Then he knew what he was talking about.
Yeh, Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro want a Democrat to be elected. WHAT does THAT tell you?

NO, no, no. You don't get it. It is okay to go back 20, 30 or 40 years to discredit a Republican but you can't go back 10 years or less to discredit a Lib because that is called smearing.

Everyone knows Fred is just a flash in the pan. He's just another Republican terrorist as the party grabs at straws while drowning in their own pus.
