I have been on blood preassure tablets (Quinapril and Istin) for a whilw now. I know now that my blood preassure is fine, so can I quit taking those tablets now, or will it do me more harm if I stop taking them?

Never stop taking perscribed blood pressure medication without your Dr's. permission, your Dr. will wean you off it gradually and only he/she knows if you are stable enough to be taken off them, he/she may want you to come in to the office on a daily basis and record your b/p so they can see how it is...just because you think it is fine does not always mean that it is ..as the blood pressure medication is doing it's job"keeping it down"I take Liscinopril 10 mg per day and for 19 years
