No, but you could write them a letter and send it in the regular mail.

If you call, there will be a "gatekeeper" to make sure nobody's work gets interrupted by having to hear your question. But if you write, you have a better chance that it will get seen, I'd say about 50-50.

Don't email. Big companies don't read their email.

Probably not as they're a yarn store rather than a manufacturer. When you can't find the inside end of the skein, grit your teeth and pull out as little of the center section as possible. You can then wind that yarn around the skein until you finally find the end. It's sort of like working from the outside for a while when you're winding and working up what you wound, but it's usually a small proportion of the skein & better than doing the whole skein that way.

I've had the same problem. Press both ends of the skein in gently and push your fingers in to the middle til you find the end. You pull out a lot less that way. I know it's a pain, but there isn't anything the store can do. If you really want to let someone know, call or write the manufacturer.

Just roll it into a ball or if you have a skein winder, resekein it.
