How would you react if your husband told you he was broke until pay day then you find out he some money on him..Would you be mad or would it be no big deal since it was only under 50 dollars.

if its under fifty? i wouldn't make a huge deal of it.. unless you had asked for like a buck for soda and he said he didn't have any and he did.
he might have considered that small amount to be broke in his mind.. so he might not feel like he was lying.
the best advice i can give you is to talk to him, ask him about it without being confrontational, and as long as you are talking in a civil manner, don't be afraid to let him know that you felt decieved by what happened.
if you are polite, and are willing to listen to his side of it, he should be understanding if it is just a difference in idea of the definition of broke..
and on the other hand.. if hes up to no good... it'll all come out eventually

I would be mad if he said he was broke and you needed groceries. But if he really only had a few bucks left to last him until payday and he had already figured that money for gas or something, then I wouldn't be too mad. You need to talk to him. Talking is the best thing to do.

I wouldn't be mad. I would know he was referring to the bank account. The money he had on his was all that was left and he was warning you against any purchases that could draw the account into negative.

depends. if i was asking for a dollar and he said he's broke, i wouldn't expect him to have that dollar. but if i'm asking for a new couch and he's got $49 in his pocket, yes, his *** is still broke!
