It is NOT TRUE that the betta will attack the cory. Betta's are not aggressive except to other betta's. They do not attack other fish.

However you can not add any other fish to your betta bowl, and in fact I would encourage you to get rid of the bowl all together and get at least a 10 gallon tank with a heater and filter for your betta.

While betta can SURVIVE in a bowl they will not do well, and should not be kept in bowls.

Bettas are able to live in non moving water (assuming this bowl doesn't have a filter or air pump), cory cats cannot. They need aerated water to survive. So, no, I wouldn't put a cory in with your betta. If you upgrade to a 5 or a 10 gallon and put a heater and filter in the tank you can def. add some more fish. Plus, your betta will be much happier :)

cory cats get plenty too vast for a 5gallon, you like a 10gallon or maybe then some could argue you should in trouble-free terms have pygmy cory cats in there. plecos get extensive, 18" or greater, and on an identical time as there are smaller varieties they are tougher to discover and in many cases somewhat costly. as properly that, even the smallest ones want a minimum of 10gallons, maximum want greater. in a 5gallon, follow in trouble-free terms a betta. in case you like something else attempt some ghost shrimp. yet no count what you put in there (you appeared to point "purifier fish") you should wash the tank with 10% to twenty-5% water differences a week applying a gravel siphon. please do improve although, a a million/2gallons isn't sufficient :(

No because the betta will attack the cory in a bowl, In a bigger tank it would be ok , And corys need to be in packs of 3 or more,

Might work, not a good idea. The Cory would do better with a filter and aeration.
