i've had my home pc for 3 yrs already. and my laptop for almost 3 months. love em both. the only reason why i got my laptop is so i can keep it in bed with me for when my husband gets online while he's in iraq. otherwise, i would just use my home compooper. =) get a new one. or try to update yours with more ram and all that good stuff, but the best bet would be for you to buy a new one. they are very inexpensive now-a-days.

No, I would not get a new one. That old computer is just as good as any over priced hunk of plastic today! Heck I have Windows 98 and I still use it and it works fine for me! I still even have a Windows 3.1 that I use for Internet browsing the pages do load a little slow all though but it works fine for me!
So no I would not sell my old computer for some new over priced, buggy, resource eating hog Vista! But you may want to add a tad bit more RAM to it witch can be done easily and quickly! Here is a good place to start http://www.crucial.com
click scan my system and read its EULA and boring techie stuff and chose the little box and go! It may a take a minute or so and then it displays your results. Order from there site and put it in your computer and it will speed it up! E-Mail me with any questions. Good Luck!

I have had mine since November of 2001. It does the trick in terms of internet browsing and such but it depends on what you want to use the computer for. If you need to do more than the basic Microsoft Office and internet browsing then it would be worth it.

I've had this one for about 5 years, but I have upgraded it twice already. Sounds like you need to open the piggy bank and get some newer technology.

I have had my computer for a little over a year (probably a year and one month to be exact). Yes, it is definitely time for you to get a new one.
