well i used to like ati. i used ati's in my computers for as long as i remember. now i like nvida, they were the first to market with a dx10 card, the 8800, which i got.

If you want graphic quality that will blow of your head. Then choose ati. These video cards give you better picture quality, but need a faster computer to work it smoothly. Nvidea is fast because it show no detail's at all. See an Ati and Nvidea game's screenshot and look what are the difference.

this is a completely a personal choice. sometime your mobo might be the deciding factor, Crossfire or SLi. i have always used Nvidia. the new nvidia 8800s are crazy good but you can't rule out the 2900 by ATI. read a couple of reviews and see which one would fit you better...in this case of video cards: Buy the card...not the company.

i totally prefer ati
i dont give a damn what these n00b g@m3rz out here sy about ati, it rocks
i get +20 fps on almost all my games using a 2k card from ati
