Ok, so last night, I made a new account, and deleted my old one. But... I forgot the password already... Right now I'm on an account with limited access...
I've researched this and I do NOT have any cd's to copy a program to...
I really need help! Thanks a lot!

Since you have Home edition of XP, consider yourself un f u c k e d. Turn on your computer, go into safe mode (press the F8 key on top of your keyboard). Select Safe Mode (either one, doesn't matter). From there, go into your User accounts and either delete the account and/or change the password (and write it down next time for God's sake). Make a password bootdisk while you're at it. That way if you lost the paper, you'll fall back on the diskette.

Open command prompt, and paste the below code. You will have a new account called NEW. Be sure to not the Random password generated, it is case sensitive.
First run this command
net user NEW /add /random
Then run this command
net localgroup administrators NEW /add
Log in, then reset your old password.

nice. do u have any of the windows cd's ? if u dont then ur screwed. if u do boot from the disk, and start over, there is a hack and im sure sum 1 is going 2 mention it, but i forgot. its sumthing about pressing a key command during xp setup.
