For some reason my cuz showed me this goldfish that he put in the freezer to freeze overnight. Now that it's completely frozen, he wants to know if it will still be alive when we melt the water?

Nope, it will not. He has successfully killed a living animal for no reason. I hope you are disgusted by this and will speak to both him and his parents about respecting life.

Nope. Goldfish nor any other fish can be frozen solid.

This is a very inhumane way to treat a fish as well since it took a few hours to totally freeze the tissue and the fish knew it was freezing to death.

What kind of a question is that ....of course it won't live...its not even an artic species only few animals (normally reptiles WHO NATURALLY LIVE IN COLD CLIMATES can survive it)
though I hope you learned something about this ... if you actually dd care for the goldfish (which I doubt) you should of asked the question before actually doing it!

Of course not! That only works in scifi moves and your method was much less than a flash freeze.

I find it difficult to believe anyone anywhere thinks a living creature can be revived after freezing.

No, the fish is dead. Congratulate you friend on killing something for the sake of curiosity. I hope he doesn't have any other pets.
