Help, convert podcast and tv shows off of itunes to a dvd?

ok so i'm going on a road trip with my family...(yeah me...) and i have some podcast and tv shows i got off of itunes and a portable dvd player. I need to know what file type is the standard dvd and how do i convert the podcast and tv shows to that specific file type. (which i'm pretty such is .mp4) Please help me! Thanks

u cannnot do that. videos off of itunes are drm'd and u can only play them on computers wen u authorize them.
