Why does most of people think that she did the right thing?Paris is a bad image of the society, even if she were a murderer, so what? It's Mika's job to read the news that are given to her. I turn to the news channel to hear news, not her opinion. Why does most of people think that she did the heroic thing? She obviously decided what people should listen or what not. I think this was a calculated move by MSNBC to insert a little personality into their lineup. After loading up on female correspondents with pretty faces, they want one with opinions. In short, it was a put on.

There's nothing wrong with Mika Brzezinski. She gave the media its long-lost dignity and credibility back by refusing to report on something way beyond ridiculous.

Paris Hilton being released from prison doesn't benefit society in any way. It doesn't make the general public better educated. It doesn't empower the masses. It doesn't heal the sick, feed the hungry or shelter the homeless.

If anything, Paris represents why this country's in a very deep hole that's challenging to climb out of. Ms. Brzezinski did America a service by telling everyone not to give a damn about the socialite anymore by not caring herself.
