the one that I can't stand to hear is the beeping of an alarm clock. it's soo annoying. the sound like gets into my head and drives me nuts. So now I wake up to music, it's more refreshing then a sudden BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP.

Whistling is THE worst thing. I honestly feel it could provoke me to murder. The worst thing is what I call "idle whistling" where people just feel they have to make a whistling noise, rather than a tune, as they go about their business ... not stopping to think that they are imposing their noise on others. Hmmmph! Other hated noises are anything high pitched and the sound of people chewing gum - the sight of them doing so is pretty sickening too, especially if they're talking at the same time.

1) The sound of styrofoam (as in take out food).
2) Chalk on a blackboard (although most schools have 'white board' these days)
3.) Toilet running. (shake the darn handle please!)
4.) My neighbors running upstairs
5) A record skipping (do people actually have records anymore?)
6. Chair sliding across the floor
7) Someone 'cracking' their knuckles
8) People who 'pop' and 'smack' their gum
9) A baby crying in church service (parent continues to play with child, but won't take the child out)
10) Garbage truck pulling up to the dumpster
11) Telephone ringing after midnight
I could go on and on with sounds that disturb me....(smile)

Scraping the ice off of the inside walls of a deep freezer & when the window of a car is not closed tight & just a little wind whistles in as you go fast...it drives me crazy. Also when people talk when they are all stopped up....GO BLOW YOUR NOSE!!!
