He was on Oprah some time back and stated that some of the skits he did was offensive and felt remorse for some of the things he did on the Chappelle Show.

He told Oprah that on one skit he worked on, that there was a man in the audience that was laughing at the skit and Chappelle felt that the man was laughing at him and not laughing with him. He said it made him feel uncomfortable --this guy's laugh--and that set off a bell in his head that maybe he was making himself into a Buckwheat kind of character. That is the impression that I got from the Oprah interview.

Also, Chappelle's writing bud is not on speaking terms...this is what David told Oprah...that his writing partner, director didn't even call when David went to South Africa for some time out from show business. David was kinda ticked by what his writing partner insensitivity.

I think these are the reasons why Chappelle will not be returning to Chappelle Show.

Not likely, he wasn't comfortable with the way the show was going so he quit during the third season I believe to recuperate. He said if they aired the "lost episodes" he would not do another season, and they did, so he wont.

NAACP and BARACK OBAMA will continue after Dave is gone so there will be more. Rev. Al Sharpton will be involved also.
