Hi i have a 24ibs baby boy and i just got my boobs done 10 days ago, my doctor said not to lift anything over 10 ibs for a good 3 weeks but this is so hard for me to take care of my child. I have had alot of help and haven't lifted

Do you think it would be wise to lift my child up in the next 2 days or should i hang in there for another week?
Has anyone been through this and was ok ?

What does your DOCTOR say?

Three weeks is three weeks. If you plan on seeing the doctor after three weeks, get it cleared by HIM to be able to lift your child.

You NEED to wait at least three weeks or else you risk your breast health.

Just because some people might do it and were ok does not mean that you will also be ok. You need to follow your doctors orders.

If you over exert yourself, you could end up opening up the incision again, which may cause more scarring plus a lot of pain. So try to stick to what your doctor told you!
