Mine just seems to be up just a little high and it makes it hard to light. It's like it's blowing itself out. (for reference, I had no idea what catagory to put this in)

well....cRisTi.....why do you anyswer questions you don't know the answer to? Zippoblue is a butane lighter. Most butane lighters have sort of a valve type of thing near the fill tube. Well, this one doesn't.

Is there a small screw in the base of the lighter? My Zippo butane has this and it works like a faucet... to the right cuts the flame down, to the left raises it up. Some Zippos have a slip on outer shell or case... you have to grab the top near the flame (cold please!) and pull this little "lighter condom" off. The workings are underneath. Hope that helps and please let me know how you make out.

Unfortunately, no. The flame is supposed to be consistent and should be as high as the top edge of the flip-top when it's open.

However, the good news is that it's guaranteed for life and they will fix it free of charge, including free shipping. Go to www.zippo.com and follow the links. They provide detailed instructions on how to send it in and where to send it.
