I agree with you that sometimes a question asked might invoke many of the community to respond. It's nice when that happens, but then the Pandora's Box is opened when you have to read all the responses. In some ways, it's like reading a lot of letters from all over! And the questions don't have to be stupid or irrelevant. (smile)

I like it when I get lots of answers because when I ask a question I really am looking for a variety of answers to choose from. So yes, I like getting that many. I like to read what people say back. (only if they are nice though)

It's a bit of an anti-climax, I appreciate the reponses but when it comes down to picking a best answer, it's sometimes hard...

Yes. You should feel privileged. Either your question was a good one or you aggravated a lot of people. Either way, you should feel good. If you don't want to read all the answers, then don't post any questions.

only happened once or twice but it is much better than zero answers for sure - zero answers means no one is in the slightest interested in your thoughts :(
just went though my questions and only found two close to 60 - one 57 and one 52! but this is near.
