Not usually, but once, after a massive row with my partner I did something awful. I had the beef on a plate and just as I was about to serve it, the dog jumped up and stole it. I got it out of his mouth, washed it under the tap and served it to my partner. He dosen't know to this day.

Honestly, no, our dog waits for anything that drops on the floor and has scoffed it before you get the chance to put it back on a plate.

it depends on what the food is-- cracker? yes-- but something sticky that probably picked up dirt, etc off the floor? usually, no (i'm a firm believer in the 5-second rule)

I don't drop anything. I've never dropped a single pancake. Food is too precious to be wasted.
