okay firstly the type of processor your motherboard can take will depend on the socket it has. You can download a program called pc wizard. It will give you info on the type cpc you have and pin no. The graphics however hill only go into the specific slot. It could be PCI or AGP or PCIe. Then just see what limitations the card has like 4x instead of 8x etc.

well, i have no idea what that moteher board has. look at the processor that computer has now, it is a AMD athalon, single core, i am not sire what socket that it uses, but it is probably AM2, so you should be compatible with most new amd processors, including the phenom, but your motherboard probably does not support the phenom nor does it have the power, so you could just upgrade to a athalon X2 if you do have the correct socket( WHICH I AM NOT SURE YOU HAVE) ohh, the video card, a quick google search says that it is a integrated video card, so you have to look on your motherboard ofr the correct slot for the new one that you want, which is PCI-express x16, which i doubt that a low-end emachines motherboard has, but it is long, probably blue, and it has a little tag thing on the end

Find out what kind of motherboard you have. If you don't know off hand, you can open your computer case and look on the board. It should tell you the brand and model number. Then go to your manufacturer's website and look up the specs for the board. It will tell you what kind of CPU and video cards it supports.
If you have a brand name computer (Dell, HP, etc) then just look up your computer's model number from the manufacturer's website. The computer's data sheet should tell you all the info you need.

if you are talking about about a PC your motherboard has a processor. all motherboards have processors.. motherboards exist for processors.. if your computer has an open PCI slot then you can put a video card in it.

Hi. Look at the board or search for a spec sheet. Graphics cards come in several types, AGP, PCI, PCIe or x. You need to know which your board supports.
