Should people who are not old enough to even know what Watergate was really about, be qualified to judge someone based on that article?

And is this all the dirt they have?

I think you will find that the majority of Americans are yawning.

Fred Thompson did not "aid Nixon on Watergate." That is a gross departure from the facts. Not that the media ever really cares much about facts... Thompson was a prosecutor. He gave some discovery to the other side. Did he abuse his discretion? Only one who knows other than Thompson is dead. It's how stuff gets done. Read the US Constitution.

Fred Thompson was the Minority Counsel for the Senate Select Committee on Campaign Practices (better known as the Watergate committee). The Majority Counsel was Sam Dash. It was Mister Thompson's questioning of Alexander Butterfield which revealed the existence of a secret tape recording system in the Oval Office. I hardly think that qualifies as "aiding Nixon"
BTW, one of the junior lawyers on Mister Dash's staff was Hillary Rodham. She is now Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and is a candidate for her party's nomination as their Presidential candidate.

yes I did. Nixon resigned in shame rather than be impeached and hurt the country. The country moved on. Clinton the selfish stayed through the end and didn't give a damn. I'll take Thompson any day over that.

Yes, about 100 times in the past three days .. right here. :)

That's why I'm switching to become a Democrat and will be volunteering to work on Hillary's campaign. She's SO much better.

Yeah,

Warned Nixon that Congress knew about the tapes, because he thought the tapes would exonerate him of any wrongdoing.

Oops.

stop giving him press. He has not declared that his running until then don't give him any press. Save it for people that we know that are running. Ron Paul, Tom Tancerdo, Hukabee, people like that.
