If there is an order to pay support it has to be paid. Period. However there are a lot of dead beats out there. But you should seek help from the state or a good attorney to enforce the child support.

I don't know the exact law, but go to the District Attorneys office, and file a complaint, then they most likely will tell you go and apply for Welfare, that then starts the process of them garnishing your ex's wages.
He will be labeled a dead beat Dad, when he files his taxes if he does, then they will take that from him.
They are serious about this, but don't let your children go without - do something right away!
Good luck

We have Child Support Enforcement here in GA. I'm sure they have something similar there love. You don't have to have an attorney or anything you just give them your Support Order and they collect for you Here they can suspend his driver's license and any professional licenses.

have the same problem here in GA, but we do have child support enforcement...unfortunately, my ex works for himself and finds ways around it. locking him up didn't help either...it's horrible that they help bring these kids into the world but do nothing to help support them!
good luck hun, i feel for ya and know what it's like!

It's a no win situation. If you report him and they put him in Jail, you still get no money! Just a bad, bad deal. Nuthin worse thn a dead-beat dad!
