there's a few persons i know who claim to be brutally honest all the time...only thing is, they are never ever with themselves, as they sugar coat whatever part/role they play or do...
on the flip side, there are the ones who sugar coat many things, possibly to avoid confrontations or what have you --but in essence and reality aren't being honest enough with themselves or anyone either...
yes, it's a cruel, cruel mixed up world we live in...

I am honest with people and sometimes I guess brutally honest at times. If people ask me what I think I tell them and often at times they get mad. I always wonder why they ask.
