Who else would pass inane legislation that often makes a mockery of our judicial system? Who else would squander billions of taxpayers' hard-earned dollars on insane 'pork' and 'earmarks'? Who else would set themselves up in a privileged royalty system, then give themselves outlandish pay increases while not doing anything? Who else would steal taxpayers' money so they can live in the lap of luxury and retire with lavish lifetime pensions? Why else would completely disregard the American people while taking graft, bribes, and gifts from corporate campaign contributors, wealthy elitists, and special interest groups?
If it weren't for Congress, American taxpayers would have trillions of dollars to piss away on an unconstitutional, illegal, unjustifiable, immoral war in Iraq! -RKO- 07/07/07

because that is what makes it a democracy. with out Congress who would make sure Bush doesn't completely take control of everything? don't like what Congress is doing? then don't keep re-electing the same people. 97% of Congress doesn't change. whose fault is that? ours. we put them in there. we can take them out by elected fresh new faces who will do something. so don't complain when you don't do anything to change Congress.
