For those of you who say that it was mysteriously whisked off to China and India, here's one of the products made right here in the USA with that steel:

Kelly B - If that link were true, remember what Rosie believes: It was taken away immediately.
I for one would be a little interested on the steel's integrity after all that happened that day.

You go girl!

And to all those that responded negatively, just remember that regardless of what happened to that steel, we lost TRUE American Heroes that day! May God Bless them, their families, and this GREAT Nation they "CHOSE" to defend!

Thanks again Blue Steel & Lace. As we head out to the fireworks tonight (rain delay from the 4th), your question is a great reminder about why we celebrate our independence!

The steel did not have to completely melt for the towers to fall. That was proven by Popular Mechanics and professional engineers.

Some of it is going into that tourist ship that docks at New York.

I think it is a Tony Soprano thing. The steel was piled up in Jersey At a mafia scrap yard. They managed to sell some of it back to the Navy to be used repairing the tourist ship..

And this link says something different!

Depends on which source you feel is credible!!

The problem with what Rosie said is that she didn't clarify enough!
Many scientists have publicly stated that the fires created by the burning jet fuel didn't and couldn't have created a temperature high enough to melt steel!
Some even say that the temps weren't high enough to weaken the steel enough for it to cause the building to have imploded on itself!

Regardless ---they should have done a more thorough investigation of the remains and circumstances of that day!
Has there ever been a more horrible or more significant "crime scene" in the U.S. other than Pearl Harbor or Oklahoma city????

NO!!

Many questions and not enough answers!

Hummm
Kind of sad really. Two melt-downs. I don't particularly care for the idea of ships being made from melted steel from the WTC. Surely we know that they were unable to separate human remains.
Sorry.
Wouldn't want to ride aboard that ship under ANY circumstances.
They're right.
"Never Forget"....
