I'm interested in starting a business - a theatre, but a new breed of theatre. How can I get others to invest their money into my idea? Business plan, demographics, what do I need? Or where can I learn about it?

You would absolutely need a business plan to get investors for ANY type of business. You have to be able to show it can make money, how you would market it, what is would cost to start and run until it became profitable, etc. research business plans on internet as well as the type of business you want to start

Do a feasibility study to see if what you want to do is of interest to residents and businesses in the area.

Ask friend and family. Develop a professional business plan and present it to those you want as investors.

You cna take your business plans to a big-time company but tehy could reject you and then use the idea as their own. To prevent this, post them too yourself in a jiffy bag before your scheduled appointment. This way you can prove that they are yours.
