IMO its poison.

It is a shot that is given every three months. It is 99% effective against pregnancy but NOT STD's.

I was on it for four years and I am so glad I am OFF of it!

I would not look into getting this shot. Class action lawsuits against Pfizer for what it does to women.

it is a contraceptive injection that i would not recommend .
it vcan have severe side affects for some women but other women say it is great .
severe depression atheritis mood swings headaches are just some of the side affects.
please google search and you will find many peoples differing opinions on the depo.

The term "depot" refers to any oil injection that is injected into a muscle and disperses slowly over time therfore making it last a long time. If you are referring to "depo provera" that that is the birth controll shot that was talked about above.

It's a birth control needle that you get every three months. The side-effects will range for different people, just because one person has had a bad experience with it, doesn't mean that will happen to everyone : )

it's a birthcontrol shot. I actually just got put on it and i'm doing fine.

IT IS A HORRIBLE SHOT THEY GIVE YOU EVERY 3 MONTHS FOR BIRTH CONTROL. I GOT IT TWICE AND HAD MY PERIOD FOR 3 STRAIGHT MONTHS BOTH TIMES I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. IT WAS MISERABLE
