42nd Chapter 15th Verse of The Book of Job in The Holy Bible will help answer your question about Job's Daughters. This scripture states " And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job : and their father gave them inheritance among their brethern. "

Yes, both groups do know the history. However, Demolay did not start the masons. The oldest documented lodges are from England and Scotland. Its a long story, too long to post here. Jaque deMolay was killed in 1314. There is no evidence of any direct connection between the Knights Templar and the masons which evolved out of working stonemason groups in the 1700s and 1800s.

Demolay is for boys from 12 to 20. Job's Daughters is for girls from 10 to 20. Both groups teach social responsibility in a fun environment.

De Molay is a hero for them because he was martyred when the Knights Templar came under persecution and disbanded. He was, I believe, burned at the stake.

It usually is the case with martyrs that, while their physical lives are taken away, they live on as a hero to the zealots that followed them or who hold to the same belief systems they did.

Not sure about the daughters of Job part.
